Amends TCA Title 3, Chapter 6.

This bill requires each lobbyist registered in this state to, while actively lobbying at the general assembly, wear a visible badge identifying: (1) The name of the lobbyist; and (2) The name of each employer, person, or entity on behalf of whom the lobbyist receives compensation to lobby a member or members of the general assembly during a respective session. This bill requires the Tennessee ethics commission to design and produce or procure the production of each badge and to provide such badge to the lobbyist not later than 10 days after registering the lobbyist with the ethics commission. The ethics commission may charge the lobbyist for the cost of the badge in an amount not to exceed the actual cost of producing or procuring the badge.
