ON MARCH 6, 2023, THE SENATE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND PASSED SENATE BILL 329, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #1 rewrites this bill to add to the present law provision requiring the governor to appoint three members to the medical cannabis commission, that at least one member must be a patient who has been diagnosed with a qualifying medical disease or condition and who can establish the diagnosis for purposes of appointment to and service on the commission with a valid letter of attestation.
