ON MARCH 6, 2023, THE SENATE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND PASSED SENATE BILL 637, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #1 adds Food City as “K-VA-T Food Stores, Inc.” to the list of companies being added to the statewide opioid settlement agreement for which the attorney general has the authority to release pending or future claims.
