Amends TCA Title 39, Chapter 17, Part 3 and Title 71, Chapter 6.
ON APRIL 21, 2023, THE HOUSE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND PASSED HOUSE BILL 1280, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #1 removes from this bill the requirement that the person stalking a victim, who is at least 65 years of age, be 15 or more years younger than the victim in order to commit the criminal offense of aggravated stalking.
