ON MARCH 14, 2024, THE SENATE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND PASSED SENATE BILL 1914, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #1 rewrites the bill to, instead, enact the "Whole Milk for Healthy Kids Act," which authorizes each local board of education and public charter school governing body to establish policies for its public schools to offer students whole milk options through bulk milk dispensers.
