Amends TCA Title 4, Chapter 1, Part 3.
ON MARCH 11, 2024, THE SENATE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND RESET SENATE BILL 1987, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #1 makes the following changes to the bill: (1) Provides that the official Christmas song, instead of holiday song, of this state is "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" by Brenda Lee; and (2) Requires the secretary of state to include the official Christmas song "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" by Brenda Lee in the Tennessee Blue Book. ON MARCH 18, 2024, THE SENATE SUBSTITUTED HOUSE BILL 1613 FOR SENATE BILL 1987, ADOPTED AMENDMENT #2, AND PASSED HOUSE BILL 1613, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #2 requires the secretary of state to include the official holiday song "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" by Brenda Lee in the Tennessee Blue Book.
