Amends TCA Title 37.
ON APRIL 15, 2024, THE HOUSE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND PASSED HOUSE BILL 2452, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #1 rewrites the bill to, instead, remove the declaration that it is the responsibility of each parent and legal guardian to ensure that their children are vaccinated according to Center for Disease Control or American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines, and replaces the declaration with a recommendation that each parent or legal guardian ensure that such person's child or children receive the vaccines as are recommended by the board of medical examiners.
