The bill applies specifically to employers of minors under parental authority and requires documentation of the circumstances in the minor's employment file. Violations of this reporting requirement could result in penalties of $1,000 for the first offense and $2,000 for subsequent offenses, with fines payable to the commissioner of labor and workforce development.
