The President called for an election for President Pro Tempore of the Metropolitan Council. Nominations previously made were Council Member Olivia Hill and Council Member Jeff Preptit. The following vote was taken on the nominated candidates: CM Olivia Hill (20): Evans-Segall, Allen, Hill, Cortese, Benedict, Harrell, Hancock, Webb, Eslick, Evans, Bradford, Huffman, Gregg, Druffel, Johnston, Nash, Benton, Rutherford, Ewing, and Spain; CM Jeff Preptit (14): Suara, Porterfield, Kimbrough, Toombs, Gamble, Parker, Capp, Vo, Cash, Preptit, Ellis, Sepulveda, Styles, and Lee; Abstain (0). The President declared the Council Member Olivia Hill had been elected as the President Pro Tempore of the Metropolitan Council.
