After discussion, Council Member Horton called for the previous question, which motion was seconded and approved by a voice vote of the Council. The matter recurred on the amended motion to defer the bill to the July 15, 2025 Council meeting and to hold an additional public hearing, which motion was seconded and failed by the following roll call vote: Yes (16): Allen, Hill, Toombs, Cortese, Webb, Eslick, Evans, Huffman, Cash, Kupin, Taylor, Druffel, Ellis, Lee, Ewing, and Spain; No (16): Suara, Porterfield, Evans-Segall, Kimbrough, Parker, Capp, Benedict, Harrell, Vo, Gadd, Preptit, Nash, Benton, Sepulveda, Rutherford, and Styles; Abstain (0).
