This legislation authorizes the City of Oakland to accept and appropriate a grant of up to $1 million from the Kaiser Permanente National Community Benefit Fund at the East Bay Community Foundation to implement a workforce development and interim housing pilot project from October 1, 2026, to September 30, 2028. It also authorizes the City Administrator to accept and appropriate up to an additional $2 million in philanthropic and private sector funding for the project.
